A single bronze statuette depicting an alert, standing gazelle or antelope, mounted upon a rectangular plinth. The sculpture is executed in a dark grey to black metal alloy, featuring a heavily textured, speckled patina. The animal is rendered in a stylized, elongated form. The side of the rectangular base is clearly inscribed with the name and date icarus dated 1992.” The base is also marked with an edition number, “/1200,” indicating it is part of a limited run. An additional incised signature, likely that of the artist, is visible on the top surface of the base near the animal’s legs.
