A single illuminated novelty wall clock designed in the style of the iconic U.S. “Historic Route 66” highway shield. The clock features a white plastic shield-shaped housing and a clear acrylic face. The design is highlighted by bright blue illumination provided by a visible neon or LED tube tracing the inner edge of the design. The clock face displays the text “HISTORIC ROUTE 66,” the large central number “66,” and thirteen small gold stars. Time is indicated by black hour and minute hands and a red sweep second hand. The reverse of the clock reveals the movement housing, identified as a “YOUNG TOWN QUARTZ” mechanism marked “MADE IN TAIWAN” with “NO JEWELS UNADJUSTED.” The movement is powered by a single AA battery (Duracell visible). A power cord extends from the side for the lighting component. Visible markings on the back include a small sticker reading “3CN19N08 8 05.”
