A single Wedgwood Drabware dessert plate, attributed to the early 19th century. The plate is crafted from earthenware or pottery and features a translucent light tan or cream colored glaze. The face is extensively decorated with gold gilt in a stylized foliage pattern, detailed with elaborate veining resembling a broad leaf. The rim is finished with a complex, scalloped gilt border. The reverse side bears impressed manufacturer marking WEDGWOOD
