A Gothic steeple-style mantle clock manufactured by the Ansonia Brass and Copper Co., Ansonia, Conn. The clock features a dark-stained wooden case with a sharply pointed top and two turned finials. The dial displays black Roman numerals on a white face, with the hands attached over exposed brass gearwork in the center. The lower section of the hinged door contains a glass panel decorated with a reverse-painted fruit motif, primarily featuring grapes and a peach or apple. An interior paper label confirms the maker and references an EIGHT DAY BRASS movement.
