A single fine bone china figurine manufactured by Royal Worcester, titled ‘Jasmine, ‘ identified as The Royal Worcester Figurine of the Year 2009. The figure depicts a woman standing in a deep aubergine or plum-colored gown featuring balloon sleeves, a plunging gold-trimmed neckline, and a fitted bodice. The sweeping skirt is extensively decorated with applied gold and white floral and foliate motifs. The figure was produced only until December 2009, based on the printed marks. The underside of the base bears extensive printed marks including “ROYAL WORCESTER ESTABLISHED 1751,” the title ‘Jasmine’, “The Royal Worcester Figurine of the Year 2009,” production information, a sculptor’s signature, the model number CW 845, and the copyright date “2008 Compton & Woodhouse Ltd.” The figurine is presented with its original Compton & Woodhouse box.
