A pair of fine china and bone china figurines manufactured by Coalport and distributed by Compton & Woodhouse. The lot includes two distinct named figures, each accompanied by its original Certificate of Authenticity (COA) and presentation box. The first figure, ‘With This Ring, ‘ is a fine china figurine sculpted by John Bromley, depicting an elegant lady in a light aqua gown with applied gold detailing on the bodice. This figure is part of a limited edition of 7,500, with this specific example numbered 2875. The base is marked ‘COALPORT Est. 1750,’ ‘With This Ring, ‘ and ‘CW 831.’ The second figure, ‘Lois, ‘ is the Coalport Figurine of the Year 2010, sculpted by Martin Evans. This bone china figure depicts a lady in a deep purple and mauve gown with applied floral detailing. Production of ‘Lois’ was strictly limited until December 31, 2010. The base is marked ‘COALPORT Est. 1750,’ ‘Lois, ‘ and ‘CW 902.’ Both figurines and their corresponding COAs are present.
