A vintage framed advertising mirror for Vaux Breweries Ltd., the historic Sunderland-based company. This piece is characteristic of pub and bar decor popular during the latter half of the 20th century (likely 1970s–1990s). The sign features graphics applied to the reverse of the glass mirror, predominantly in a gold/gilt color scheme. Text includes “VAUX BREWERIES LTD.” across the top arc, flanking a central red-orange rectangular logo bearing the word “VAUX.” Below this, the mirror proudly states “BREWERS SINCE 1806” and finishes with the prominent slogan “FINE ALES AND LAGERS.” The mirror is housed in a dark brown frame, likely wood or molded plastic, detailed with a beaded inner edge border.
