A Beswick ceramic figurine of a standing British Bulldog, model name Bosun (model number 1731). This realistically modelled piece features a stocky build with characteristic wrinkled facial features and a high-gloss glazed finish. The colouration consists of brown and white patches with hand-painted black detailing to the muzzle and eyes. The underside bears the black underglaze factory marks BOSUN, BESWICK, and ENGLAND. Additionally, the unglazed foot pads feature handwritten decorator marks Z and W. Height: 2.5 inches.
