A large Murano style art glass sculpture of a fish. The elongated body is composed of hand-worked glass featuring a dynamic swirled pattern of cobalt blue, white, and translucent glass, accented with occasional dark reddish-brown flecks. The sculpture is detailed with applied clear glass elements, including a scalloped dorsal fin, pectoral and pelvic fins, and a flared, textured tail. The fish is depicted with an open mouth and applied clear glass eyes. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible.
