A collection of five pieces of Chinese export porcelain decorated in underglaze cobalt blue, comprising one deep plate, one teacup, one saucer, one small teabowl, and one shallow dish. The pieces exhibit varied decorative schemes characteristic of export wares. The deep plate features a central butterfly design surrounded by stylized foliage borders. The teacup and saucer are decorated with detailed pavilion and landscape scenes, while the small teabowl features a landscape band. The shallow dish also displays a detailed pavilion and landscape scene. One of the smaller dishes bears a Christie’s The Nanking Cargo, Lot 5060 sticker on the reverse, indicating provenance from the mid-18th century shipwreck recovery. The deep plate displays a stylized apocryphal four-character mark, likely reading ‘Tianxi Ri’ (Heavenly Joy Day), within the footring. The collection is consistent with mid-Qing Dynasty production.
