A collection of six vintage British military regimental insignia pieces, predominantly cap badges, constructed from brass, bronze, and white metal or silvered brass. The collection includes two similar brass cap badges for the Royal Berkshire Regiment, depicting a Chinese Dragon motif surmounting a “ROYAL BERKSHIRE” scroll. Also present are two similar white metal cap badges for the Gloucestershire Regiment, featuring the Sphinx motif above scrolls marked “EGYPT” and “GLOUCESTERSHIRE.” The lot contains one brass cap badge for The Wiltshire Regiment, designed as a crowned Maltese cross bearing the inscription “THE WILTSHIRE REGIMENT.” The final piece is a small, darkened metal insignia featuring a feather plume design below a rosette bearing the Garter motto, “HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE.” All five larger badges retain their rear fixing sliders or blades.
