A collection of nine English pewter utility wares consisting of seven small measures or miniature tankards and two hip flasks. The seven small measures are constructed with traditional tapering forms, applied handles (except for one cylindrical cup), and rolled rims. These measures display varied forms consistent with historical utility standards. The two hip flasks are of contrasting design. One is a tall, slender, plain rectangular form with a screw cap. The second is a shorter, broader style featuring extensive foliate scroll engraving across the front panel and a corresponding screw cap. Visible impressed markings on the metal confirm the material and origin, including text such as ENGLISH PEWTER, PEWTER QUALITY, MADE IN ENGLAND, and SHEFFIELD.
