This panoramic maritime work on paper depicts a variety of sailing vessels and steamships navigating a choppy sea under a cloudy sky. The composition features a large multi-masted sailing ship, a smaller steam tug, and several other vessels in the distance. The work is signed and dated W.H.B. Bunce 1909 in the lower right corner. It is presented in a dark-stained wood frame with a black mount and a gold-toned inner border.
Condition report:
The work appears to be in good overall condition. There is minor rippling of the paper substrate visible along the upper edge. The frame and mount show minimal signs of wear.
