An Art Nouveau period pottery vase by William Moorcroft, featuring the iconic Pomegranate pattern. The bulbous body with a flared rim and foot is decorated using the tubelining technique, depicting pomegranates and berries in rich tones of deep red, purple, and green. These are set against a dark cobalt blue ground and finished with a high-gloss glaze. The interior is finished in a matching deep blue glaze. The base bears the impressed maker’s marks MOORCROFT and MADE IN ENGLAND, alongside the shape number 148. This pattern, first introduced circa 1910, remains one of the most celebrated designs from the Moorcroft studio. Height approximately 16cm.
