A sterling silver and yellow guilloche enamel topped cut glass vanity jar by Levi & Salaman. The heavy clear glass body features a starburst-cut base and a deep diamond-patterned band around the exterior. The lid is decorated with vibrant yellow guilloche enamel over an engine-turned ground, finished with a matching enamelled central finial. The silver rim of the lid bears hallmarks for Levi & Salaman, the Birmingham assay office anchor, the lion passant for sterling silver, and the date letter b for 1901.
