A collection of sterling silver vanity items comprising a hand mirror, two hairbrushes, and a cut glass jar with a silver lid. Each piece is decorated with elaborate repoussé ornamentation featuring scrolling foliage, floral motifs, and a bearded mythological face at the base of the mirror and hairbrush handles. The silver components are struck with Birmingham hallmarks, including the lion passant and anchor, with the maker’s mark B & Co for Broadway & Co. The jar is constructed with a cut glass body featuring a geometric diamond pattern.
