A set of silver two-pronged appetizer forks by the Japanese maker Ishida Cloisonne. Each fork features a scalloped circular medallion at the terminal decorated with intricate cloisonne enamel work over a textured ground. The motifs depict various avian and floral subjects in a palette of blue, green, yellow, and orange. The reverse of the medallions and the interior of the presentation box lid are gold-stamped with the brand name Ishida Cloisonne and the Japanese characters 七宝 (Shippo), which translates to Seven Treasures. The reverse of the medallions bears a mark for silver. The collection is housed in its original brown fabric-lined presentation case with a gold-tone inner border.
