A hand-wrought copper ewer of Middle Eastern or Ottoman origin, typically used for water. The vessel features a globular body tapering towards a wide circular base and a flared, faceted spout. The heavy, cast-metal handle is secured with rivets and displays a decorative scalloped edge at the lower attachment point. A small, square-shaped maker’s or assay mark is partially visible on the upper neck. The construction shows evidence of hand-hammering and traditional metalworking techniques.
