Two figurines by Giuseppe Armani for Florence Sculture d’Arte, comprising a figure of a boy and a figure of an eagle. Both pieces are fashioned from a matte-finished composite material and mounted upon circular tiered wooden bases. The first figurine depicts a boy in rustic clothing carrying a large basket of grapes over his shoulder, signed G. Armani to the top of the base and bearing the marks © 1982 FLORENCE and a blue crowned N to the reverse. The second sculpture depicts an eagle with outstretched wings descending onto a rocky outcrop, featuring a signature to the base and a blue crowned N mark. Both works exhibit detailed anatomical modelling and a subtle polychrome finish.
