A varied collection of decorative arts featuring a Maling pottery cabinet plate, pattern number 6067, produced in Newcastle on Tyne, England, circa 1937. The earthenware plate is decorated with the Japanese Lantern pattern on a cobalt blue ground, depicting a hand-painted landscape with a pagoda, bridge, and floral borders. The reverse is stamped MALING MADE IN ENGLAND with the hand-painted pattern number 6067 and initial J. The lot includes a bronze-finished revival figure of a goddess wearing a sun disk and horn headdress, standing on a hieroglyphic-decorated plinth. Glassware comprises a large cobalt blue panelled and moulded vase with a flared rim, an iridescent ribbed globular vase, a swirling blue-green blown glass vase, a small aqua glass basket with an applied handle, and a textured light blue pressed glass dish. Completing the lot is a naturalistic resin figurine of a mouse on a wooden base and a cream-glazed ceramic wall pocket shaped as a slipper with hand-painted yellow floral accents. Plate diameter approximately 28cm; other items of varying sizes.
