A set of two vintage cast brass desk accessories manufactured by W&P (West & Pickett). Item one is a novelty pen rest designed as an industrial hand truck or dolly, featuring notched upright handles specifically designed to cradle a fountain pen or rollerball horizontally. It includes functional-style stationary wheels and is stamped W & P on the underside of the central crossbar. Item two is an octagonal nib tray or pin dish shaped like a spider web, featuring a raised spider figure at the centre. The tray is equipped with three small integrated feet on the underside and features darkened recesses to highlight the casting. Both pieces exhibit a deep, aged patina suitable for a Victorian or industrial-themed writing desk.
