Buyer's Premium:

A collection of six hand-carved wooden figurines attributed to Anri, originating from the South Tyrol region. The set features a larger central figure depicting a man playing a stringed instrument, likely a guitar or lute, accompanied by five smaller figures. These secondary figures include musicians playing the violin, bagpipes, accordion, and woodwinds, alongside a figure in a conducting or singing posture. Each piece is executed in a characteristic faceted folk-art style with hand-painted polychrome details, with every figure standing upon an integral rectangular base. While no signatures are visible on the wood, the collection is accompanied by a handwritten note identifying the pieces as Anri carvings. The style is consistent with the mid-century production of the Italian Alps region. Large figure height approximately 19 cm; smaller figures height approximately 7 cm.
