An original technical engineering blueprint produced by Andrew Barclay Sons & Co. Ltd., Engineers, Kilmarnock. The large-format paper document depicts the “Valve Motion Arrangement” for a 2-8-4 Side Tank Locomotive in classic white-on-blue. Technical inscriptions include specifications for “Cylrs 14″ Dia x 18″ Stroke” at a scale of 3 inches to a foot, with Tracing No. 62232. A service history table records specific engine builds dated between 1945 and 1953, including Loco Nos. 2204-5-18, 2318-9, and 2355-6. The title block includes handwritten initials for the draughtsman and checker. The piece is presented in a contemporary dark-stained wooden frame with protective glazing.
