A vintage industrial time recorder manufactured by the National Time Recorder Co. Ltd. and branded for North East Time Recorders Ltd. The unit is housed in a rectangular mahogany case with a dark-stained finish. The front features a central analog clock face with Arabic numerals and black hands, secured by a circular metal bezel. The dial is inscribed with North East Time Recorders Ltd, 263 Westgate Road, Newcastle Upon Tyne, 4 and Made in England. Functional components include a metal lever to the left side, a central aperture for card-punching, and a side-mounted keyhole. The construction incorporates both timber and cast metal elements typical of mid-20th-century factory equipment.
