A fine hand-carved English oak table lamp by Robert Mouseman Thompson of Kilburn. The lamp features an octagonal stem with the maker’s iconic signature mouse carved in high relief. The base is constructed from adzed oak with a square, chamfered pedestal. It is fitted with a cream-coloured conical fabric shade with metallic gold-toned trim. The lamp has been rewired with a modern orange braided fabric cord and a standard UK three-pin plug. The underside bears a small yellow inventory label numbered 1615.
