A contemporary decorative dagger of civilian origin, produced in the late 20th to early 21st century. The piece features a tapered, double-edged steel blade with an antiqued finish and a central fuller extending two-thirds of the length. The ricasso is embellished with cast-in-relief scrolling foliate patterns. The hilt is constructed from cast metal with an antiqued bronze-tone finish, featuring a pommel shaped as a horse’s head with red synthetic stone eyes. The grip and crossguard are decorated with embossed leaf motifs and further red stone accents. Accompanied by a green faux-leather wrapped scabbard with matching cast metal throat and chape. Includes a red-stained wooden wall display plaque with silver-toned fleur-de-lis hangers. Blade length approximately 28 cm.
