A late 19th-century architectural mantle clock executed in the Neo-Classical or Victorian style, featuring a black case attributed to slate or faux slate/marble construction. The rectangular case structure includes a stepped base and a curved pediment, detailed with extensive gold stenciled foliate decoration across the base, frieze, and pediment. The central body is flanked by four black fluted columns. The clock face features a hinged brass bezel and glass cover, revealing a brass dial plate with circular depressions serving as hour markers. The center is fitted with an ornate gilt cast metal boss and dark metal spade hands. Internal inspection confirms a brass movement and a coiled metal gong striking mechanism. The lot includes the clock and one dark metal winding key, totaling two items.
