A professional medical anatomical teaching model manufactured by 3B Scientific and supplied by the renowned British firm T. Gerrard & Co. Ltd., Centre of Biology Supply. This composite model features two distinct anatomical studies: the human respiratory system and a three-dimensional cross-section of the human skin. The structures are crafted from expertly painted plaster or composite material, finished in realistic anatomical colours and mounted on a cream-coloured backboard with a black-painted wooden base. The respiratory study includes the larynx, thyroid gland, and trachea, with two removable anterior lung sections that detach to reveal the internal bronchial tree and vascular architecture. The skin model displays the integumentary system in detail, including the epidermis, dermis, hair follicles with sebaceous glands, coiled sweat glands, nerve fibres, and vasculature. The backboard is marked with the 3B Scientific logo, and the wooden base retains the original circular paper label for T. Gerrard & Co. Ltd., Preparators Technicians Modellers.
