A large-scale textured offset lithographic print after the original oil painting by the British aviation artist Barrie A.F. Clark (born 1943). The composition depicts a Supermarine Spitfire in flight, rendered against a dramatic and atmospheric backdrop of billowing storm clouds. The print features a mechanical surface texture designed to replicate the impasto and canvas weave of the original oil painting. It bears a printed signature of the artist to the lower-left corner and carries the publisher’s credit for Ventura Prints, dated 1978, along the bottom left margin edge.
