A traditional curling stone featuring a polished, speckled grey and black granite body. The stone is designed with a ground running surface on the underside, featuring a centrally recessed metal bolt head. It is equipped with a chrome-plated metal gooseneck handle, fitted with a black rubberised or composite grip and a rounded chrome end cap. This style of stone is characteristic of late 19th to early 20th-century manufacture, often associated with Scottish production. The heavy granite body is shaped for the traditional roaring game, though it lacks specific maker’s marks, logos, or serial numbers.
