A 9ct yellow gold jewellery suite comprising a fine chain and a detachable cross pendant. The pendant is set with five marquise-cut dark blue sapphires in a cruciform arrangement, featuring a central small round-cut clear accent stone, likely a diamond. The pendant is suspended from a tapered bail hallmarked 375 for 9-carat gold. The accompanying chain is a fine twisted rope-link Prince of Wales style, secured with a bolt ring clasp. The item is presented in a vintage burgundy leatherette case with a velvet and silk-lined interior, marked for The Northern Goldsmiths Company. Length: Standard necklet length. Weight: Not recorded.
