A collection of approximately eight vintage silver gelatin prints depicting a variety of industrial, architectural, and nautical subjects. The compositions are characterised by strong graphic elements and dramatic lighting. Specific subjects include the stern of the vessel CARANNAID (R.W.Y.C. Caernarvon), interior cafe scenes featuring bold shadows cast by venetian blinds, a silhouetted spiral staircase against a clouded sky, and industrial infrastructure including power pylons and a study of discarded lead-acid batteries against a wall with Greek political posters. The prints are presented on various card stocks and housed within black, grey, and cream-coloured mats. One mount is titled STEELY SHADOWS and bears a verso stamp for the WOODLANDS PARK CAMERA CLUB. These works represent the mid-century British tradition of formalist camera club photography, focusing on texture and geometric form.
