A collection of fourteen die-cast promotional vehicles primarily from the Matchbox Models of Yesteryear series produced by Lesney Products. The breweriana and beverage highlights include a Flower’s Ale Leyland PD2 double-decker bus in blue and silver livery featuring Famous for its flavour graphics; a Whitbread horse-drawn dray carrying six barrels with a driver and two grey horses; a Whitbread bottled beers delivery van in dark brown; and a Hofmeister Lager vintage-style box truck. The lot also features a 1922 A.E.C. S-Type open-top bus for Haig Whisky with the slogan Don’t be Vague ASK FOR HAIG. Additional advertising pieces include a Lyons Tea horse-drawn carriage, a Stork Margarine tram, and various media and food brand delivery vehicles. The bodies are constructed from die-cast metal with plastic detailing to the wheels, roofs, and figures. Dimensions approximately 10cm to 15cm in length.
