An impressive and substantial wall-hanging mirror dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. The mirror is set within a heavy oak frame with a dark-stained finish, featuring a distinctive shaped and scrolled outline in the Gothic Revival style. The mirror plate itself follows the decorative contours of the frame and features a fine bevelled edge. The reverse of the mirror shows a solid, multi-panel wood construction with an original brass hanging bracket. This piece was reportedly sourced from a church rectory. Height: 122 cm (4ft).
