A pair of fine Coalport glazed bone china figurines from the prestigious High Society collection, both modelled by Jack Glynn. The first figurine, Lady Elizabeth, is depicted in an elegant late Victorian style light purple and cream ruffled gown with a matching wide-brimmed hat featuring ostrich feathers, holding a gold-trimmed teacup. It is hand-numbered 1170 of a limited edition of 5,000 and carries the 1991 copyright. The second figurine, Lady Harriet, wears a peach-coloured gown with delicate floral accents and a hat adorned with red roses, holding an ornate cream fan. It is hand-numbered 274 of a limited edition of 5,000 and carries the 1999 copyright. Both pieces feature the Coalport crown factory mark, BONE CHINA, MADE IN ENGLAND, and the artist’s facsimile signature to the base. Height 22 cm.
