This lot features two Royal Doulton glazed bone china figurines. The first is titled ‘June’, model number HN 2991, modelled by Robert Tabbenor with a 1987 copyright date. It depicts a young woman in an elegant, flowing green gown and a straw-coloured hat accented with pink flowers. The second is titled ‘Best Wishes’, model number HN 3971, modelled by J. Bromley with a 1998 copyright date. This figure is portrayed in a dynamic pose wearing a lavender-shaded skirt and red bodice, holding a light blue shawl. The ‘Best Wishes’ figurine includes a commemorative oval plaque affixed to the base inscribed ‘Shirley & Joe 35 Years’. Both pieces bear the printed Royal Doulton lion and crown factory marks to the underside. Height: June 25 cm, Best Wishes 22 cm.
