A pair of Royal Doulton fine bone china figurines, hand-made and hand-decorated in England. The first, titled Tender Moment (HN 3303), was modelled by Peggy Davies and issued in 1990; it depicts a standing young woman in an 18th-century style gown featuring pink vertical stripes and white panels, holding a single red rose in her left hand. The base carries the standard Royal Doulton lion and crown mark along with two red decorator brush strokes. The second, titled Daydreams (HN 1731), was modelled by Leslie Harradine and features a seated young woman in a tiered pink and white skirt with blue trim, a pink bodice, a blue shawl, and a matching bonnet, holding a bouquet of yellow and blue flowers. The base includes the factory mark, a facsimile signature for Leslie Harradine, a handwritten black H, and a grey stamped A. This example of Daydreams represents a later production of the classic 1935 design. Tender Moment height 18.5cm, Daydreams height 15cm.
