A Lladró glazed porcelain figurine titled The Lamplighter (El Farolero), model number 5205, designed by Salvador Furió. The piece depicts a moustachioed man in a blue coat, tan trousers, and a wind-swept brown scarf and cap, leaning against a tall grey street lamp. He is shown holding a long black lighting rod with a gold-toned tip, standing on a base detailed with a cobblestone pattern and a discarded newspaper. The underside features the blue Lladró bellflower mark, Hand Made in Spain, and Daisa 1983. It is incised with the model number 5205 and F-30 Z, and includes a small blue sticker numbered 225. Height: 48 cm.
