A fine Lladró glazed porcelain figurine titled Take Your Medicine (original Spanish title: No Olvides la Medicina), designed by the sculptor Juan Huerta. The piece depicts a young girl with a headband kneeling over a dog resting in a basket. She is shown administering medicine, holding a small blue bottle in her right hand and a spoon to the dog’s mouth with her left. The dog features a pink bandage wrapped around its head and ears. The figurine is finished in the signature Lladró pastel palette of blues, greys, and creams. The underside features the blue underglaze Lladró factory mark with the bellflower logo, reading “LLADRÓ / HAND MADE IN SPAIN / © DAISA 1991”. It also includes the incised model indicator “N-3” and additional artisan or decorator symbols. This model, number 5921, was first issued in 1992 and retired in 2005. Height: 15 cm.
