This is a comprehensive collection of seven United States Navy campaign and service medals spanning from the Second World War through to the Vietnam War. The group includes a Republic of Vietnam Service Medal in its original issue cardboard box, a China Service Medal featuring the United States Navy reverse, and an American Campaign Medal distinguished by a bronze FLEET clasp. Also present is an Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with an ASIA clasp, an American Defense Service Medal, a World War II Victory Medal, and two examples of the National Defense Service Medal, one of which includes its corresponding ribbon bar. These medals represent a significant period of American naval history, covering service in the pre-war defence period, the Pacific theatre of WWII, post-war occupation duties in China, and the conflict in Southeast Asia. The presence of the Fleet and Asia clasps indicates specific operational service within those theatres. All items are standard government issue and appear to be un-named, as was typical for these awards.
