This wall-mounted devotional object is identified as a Catholic sick call or last rites crucifix, typical of the mid-20th century. The item features a cast metal corpus with a gold-toned finish, secured to a wooden cross. The cross is constructed from two pieces of wood, likely oak, displaying a prominent grain and a bevelled decorative edge on the front face. The figure of Christ is attached via screws through the hands and feet. The reverse side reveals the unfinished wood texture and includes a simple wire hanging loop.
