A comprehensive collection of eighteen Jaguar model vehicles manufactured by Danbury Mint under official license. The collection is comprised of two distinct series. The Classic Motor Cars set includes twelve models: 1935 SS1 Saloon, 1939 SS 100 3 1/2 Litre, 1950 Mk V, 1951 XK 120, 1951 C-Type, 1954 D-Type, 1955 Mk VII, 1962 Mk 2 3.8 Litre, 1965 E-Type Fixed-Head, 1966 420G, 1986 XJ6 (XJ40), and 1988 XJ-S Convertible. The Classic Motor Cars Special Edition set includes six models: 1966 XJ13, 1992 XJ220, 1973 XJ12C, 1957 Lister-Jaguar, 1988 XJR9, and 1960 XK150 Fixed-Head Coupe. Each model is cast in solid pewter with a matte finish and features an engraved underside including the specific model name, production year, the word PEWTER, the Danbury Mint signature logo, and the official Jaguar leaper logo. The collection is presented in two custom-made stained wood display cases featuring brass-toned header plaques and individual identification plates for every vehicle.
