A comprehensive collection of Victorian and Edwardian revival decorative and functional metalware, primarily in brass and copper. The lot features a large circular Peerage brass wall charger with a high-relief repoussé central medallion depicting a 17th-century tavern scene with musicians and drinkers, bordered by scrolling acanthus leaves and raised bosses. Included is a further oval brass tray with an embossed figurative scene. The hollowware comprises an assortment of graduated copper and brass pitchers, jugs, and a copper lidded canister reinforced with horizontal brass bands. The collection also contains a quantity of cast brass horse brasses with various motifs including Capricorn, Plymouth, Gretna Green, and John Peel. Additional items include a variety of brass fireplace implements such as a hearth brush, fire fork, and poker, alongside small bells, chambersticks, and decorative vases.
