A collection of seven vintage colour offset lithographs on paper, primarily produced for mid-20th-century educational or nursery environments by Macmillan and Co. Ltd., London. Six prints originate from the Nursery Rhyme Pictures series, part of The Gay Way Series, featuring classic subjects: Hey, diddle diddle!, Hot cross buns!, Little Jack Horner, Rub-a-dub-dub!, Hickory, dickory, dock!, and Jack and Jill. The seventh print, titled Releasing the Catch in a Trawler, is from the Macmillan’s Geography Pictures series and includes a printed signature by Norman Howard in the plate. These works were designed as instructional visual aids for British schools. All items are unframed and lack hand-signatures, edition numbers, or official publisher’s stamps beyond the printed margin text. Dimensions: Sheet size approximately 430 x 530 mm each.
