Included in this lot is a collection of three colour Japanese woodblock prints (Ukiyo-e) after Suzuki Harunobu (1724-1770) and Isoda Koryusai (1735-1790). The prints depict a woman gathering cherry blossoms, a woman beneath banana trees, and a cat resting amongst flowers. These are accompanied by a descriptive text sheet and appear to be mid-20th century reproductions.
Signature/inscription details: The Robinson volume bears an ownership signature in ink to the upper right corner of the title page: Ashford.
