A contemporary decorative heater-style shield of late 20th-century manufacture, designed for wall display or theatrical use. The shield is constructed from a single sheet of metal and features an embossed central design of the Silesian eagle, distinguished by the crescent and cross across its breast. This heraldic device was historically associated with the Duchy of Silesia and later the Prussian Province of Silesia during the Kaiserreich era. The piece is finished in a faux-antique silver and blackened style, bordered by a raised frame secured with large, decorative round-head rivets. The reverse is coated in a matte black paint and is fitted with a fixed horizontal metal bar handle and a cord for mounting.
