This lot comprises three items of historic cricket memorabilia focused on the 1981 Ashes series. The centrepiece is a Duncan Fearnley Supreme model hand-made perfection cricket bat. The face of the bat is adorned with numerous ink signatures from prominent international and domestic cricketers of the late 1970s and early 1980s, including Mike Gatting (England, inscribed Best wishes), Chris Old (England), David Bairstow (England), Norman Cowans (England), John Lever (England), Stuart Gillespie (New Zealand), and Tyrone Etwaroo (Guyana/West Indies). Also included is a framed commemorative scorecard for the 1981 Third Test at Headingley, titled The Test Match of the Century, featuring Roy Ullyett cartoons of Ian Botham and Bob Willis alongside portrait sketches of the England squad. The final item is a framed textured print or painting of a Test Match scene featuring Cornhill Test sponsorship, signed BAL to the lower right. No formal certificates of authenticity or letters of provenance accompany the autographs.
