A collection of decorative and household items. The lot features a framed oil on board landscape painting signed Margaret Pemberton to the lower left, with the reverse inscribed Old Ovingham (1840) and dated 1988. The painting is housed in a gilt-effect moulded frame. Also included is a rectangular dark-wood tea caddy or storage box featuring light wood stringing, a white keyhole escutcheon, and a red-lined interior containing a circular cutout and a lidded compartment with a turned knob. The group contains a stylised yellow resin or ceramic money bank in the form of a bulldog with a coin slot to the top and painted facial details. Included is a framed print commemorating the opening of Buckingham Palace, dated August – October 1997. The lot is completed by an assortment of metalware comprising brass chambersticks with loop handles, a bell-ended candle snuffer with a wooden handle, and a conical metal piece.
