This vintage Gladstone-style doctor’s bag is constructed from textured brown leather with a top-opening metal frame. The exterior features a single leather-wrapped top handle secured by metal hardware, alongside reinforced leather corners and three metal slide latches. The interior is lined with a light-coloured fabric and contains two sets of adjustable leather retaining straps with metal buckles. The bag is designed with a wide-opening mouth characteristic of the Gladstone style.
