Monday 16th March - Antiques, Jewellery, Militaria, Coins, Vinyl, Toys, Ceramics, Collectables
This extensive collection comprises a variety of antique and vintage vessels, featuring aqua, clear, amber, and green glass alongside cream-coloured stoneware. A primary highlight is a cylindrical stoneware jar with black transfer-printed advertising for Numol, a Tonic and Nerve Lecithin Food produced in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, marketed as a body builder and digestive appetiser for children and adults. The glass assortment includes rectangular apothecary bottles with applied lips, vertically ribbed poison or chemist bottles, and round beverage containers, one of which is embossed with Brewery. Several examples feature ground glass stoppers and hand-finished necks, indicative of late 19th to early 20th-century manufacturing techniques. The collection showcases a range of historical packaging from the Victorian and Edwardian periods. No ruler or scale is present in the images.
